Up until their merger with Price Waterhouse, one of his most prestigious regular jobs was the calendar for Coopers and Lybrand, now the world's largest accountancy firm.

He is the editorial cartoonist for the Church Times plus a number of more secular titles and was, for fourteen years, deputy editorial cartoonist for a UK national tabloid newspaper before finally breaking the habit. He feels much better these days.

Noel has won a number of national and international awards including one from the United Nations and the UK's Dog Cartoonist of the Year when, to his everlasting shame, he allowed a national newspaper to photograph him with a Bonio dog biscuit clamped between his teeth.

Noel Ford's home is in a tiny mid-Wales village on the edge of the Cors Caron Welsh National Nature Reserve (known locally as 'The Bog'!) He lives there with his wife, daughter, four demented dogs and several Macintosh computers which he uses extensively in his work (the computers, not the wife, daughter and dogs). In fact, all Noel's work is produced entirely on Macs and he admits that, in garden of Eden terms, he discovered a whole new outlook on cartooning when he swallowed the Apple.
