A Place for Pets & Pet Lovers
How You Can Be of Help
Volunteers can offer time in whatever areas they feel most comfortable.
You can volunteer your home as a temporary "foster" home to care for abused,
unwanted, homeless pets until they can be placed in loving homes.
You can volunteer to help in the publicity of Humane Society events.
You can volunteer to make phone calls, distribute information, as well as refer calls and
complaints to animal investigation.
You can volunteer to Investigate animal abuse.
Fund Raising
Many Humane and Friends of Animal Programs have Memorial Programs that honors the life of a pet, friend, or relative. A memorial gift to any of these is a meaningful way to express sympathy while sharing a deep concern for all animals.
Planned Giving: If you are considering making a charitable gift, now is the time to start your planning. If you are married, single, or retired, you can plan today to make a contribution to one of many groups that help protect, and defend animals, which may qualify you for a substantial tax deduction.
You can visit our Cyberstore. 10% of your purchase will be donated to The American Humane Association.
You can also donate supplies such as: dog food, cat food, kitty litter,
collars & leashes, food bowls, blankets, and kennels or dog houses to local humane societies, and shelters.
