Neige
I
had a little friend named Neige She was sweet, loving, kind and dear Her
love of laughter shown throughout the day As she traveled from there to
here Her name was French and meant winter water She was white as new
fallen snow To me she was like another daughter She was my friend, I loved
her so Her coal black eyes danced with laughter and fun And her bottom
teeth stuck way out She was just like the early morning sun When the mists
fade and let it out.
One day two bullies came into our yard And took
her far away with them Now all I have left is my empty heart In the place
where she should have been Now she is playing in green fields
someplace Where soft daisies and tulips grow And that same little smile
shows on her face Like the one I learned to love so Well, Neige my
precious little friend It is so hard to say goodbye But, I am sure someday
we'll meet again In the place where you now reside.
