Meet Margaret R. Kimura
Margaret R. Kimura a native Californian from Los Angeles is a veteran Image Maker, and has been working as a Professional Make up artist in the Entertainment industry. Her skills have brought her many unique jobs which includes working with Audrey Heburn, Arnold Schwartzenegger, Tom Hanks, & Andie MacDowell, just to name a few. Margaret has created her own technique that definitely shows her style and amazing workmanship in all of her works of art.

Margaret has worked in Milan, Paris, Tokyo & New York in the fashion industry for the first decade of her career, and then she went back to her original roots (Hollywood) and started to work in the entertainment industry.

Having such a diverse background in her skills and talent, Margaret feels the new challenge she has now is to help others outside of the entertainment industry.

Working as a professional for over 20 years in Fashion Print, Films, Music Videos and Commercials. Margaret recently decided to branch out into developing her own line of Cosmetics called "MARGARET KIMURA COSMETICS".

Her motto is "looking beautiful is knowing your beautiful". She admits that make up should not be used to cover up who you are, but use it as an accessory to bring out what you already have, and sometimes be daring with it.

Margaret recently launched her first new book on make up called " ASIAN BEAUTY" The reason why Margaret decided to start off with "ASIAN BEAUTY" is to help open up the world of make up for the Asian community.

As an Asian American Woman, and a consumer, I know first hand that it is hard to find the right cosmetics without searching high and low. As a Professional, I know how ASIAN Women are puzzled by the lack of education to apply make up. "We have a totally different Canvas, and basically it's all about shadows and light. There is a science to that which Margaret has created, and with her new book, she hopes to fill that void for the Asian community.

She plans to also do a book for MEN. Another neglected market that needs to be opened to a higher conscience level. " I have done years a marketing research, and even Men who won't admit it publicly, has discretely said they want to learn how to better their grooming skills. Margaret has years of information that will be shared within her books and cosmetic line.

Margaret's resume is filled with many impressive experiences, also having a strong business background working in marketing for many various fortune 1000 companies (Bristol Myers, Squibb, Clairol, Glade, etc.) as a Image expert. Margaret also was contracted with Estee Lauder as a Creative Consultant to help develop new lines. Recently Margaret was the Creative Director, Head of Marketing & PR and Partner of i nuovi cosmetics.

The most important thing in Margaret's life is to make a mark in the beauty world knowing she didn't waste her life obtaining all of this knowledge and throwing it all away. "Success is not all about dollars and cents; it's about great health and ultimate happiness within."
