Dianne

Dianne was
born in San Diego, California.
She has lived most of her life in Cache Valley, Utah.
Her love for
music was probably inborn; it came with her. As she sat on daddys
lap in church she was copying her mother as she lead the congregational
songs, before she was a year old. At age 8, her wonderfully accomplished
musician grandfather began her piano training. She felt she was
privileged to be able to learn on his beautiful grand piano. While
growing up, she spent endless hours practicing on that same piano.
Its always been a joy to her to play the piano, one could
say its a passion for her. Dianne also enjoys singing as well.
Dianne has
had formal training in both piano and voice. She studied music as
she was growing up as well as in college where she graduated from
Utah State University, specializing in Spanish and music.
Although she
did write a few songs prior to this time, her composing has really
come about in the last six years.

Be sure to
listen to clips
of her music!
All of Diannes
music is totally original, and she writes most of the vocal lyrics.
As you listen to her music, you’ll notice that she has her own unique
style. It has a very romantic air to it. Its touching, soothing,
and always very moving. Also, youll find that she has some
interesting variety in her works. For example, youll notice
in her 3rd album, the song: Misterio
Latino is very Latin, and its a Latin that sounds
like that of Spain. The song: The
Final Conquest also has the same feel to it. But the remainder
of the album has somewhat of a newage feel.
Her
1st album has songs which are written and sung in English, yet there
are a couple that also have a slight Latin feel to them. Her heritage
has influenced her style of musicher mother is Argentine and
her dad North American. Dianne has played the music of various classical
composers. One of her favorites is Chopin, especially his waltzes
and some of his nocturnes and etudes. Something about his music
has greatly influenced her style, and in the way she composes.
