Bay Area Singer/Songwriter Releases Debut CD

San Francisco, CA, April 3, 2002 - Local Folk-Pop Singer/Songwriter Paula Brisker has created a powerful collection of her work and is thrilled to share this on her debut CD, "Narrow Road."

Released in November 2001, "Narrow Road" is a collection of original songs that blur the boundaries between folk, pop and rock. Mellifluous yet sometimes haunting melodies accompanied by the strumming, thumping, and finger picking of the acoustic guitar, are at the heart of Paulas unique songwriting style. Add to this, a group of world-class musicians led by a Grammy winning Producer, and you have a CD that is destined to touch the hearts and souls of its listeners.

The foundation of her band includes drummer Joey Peters of Cracker and Grant Lee Buffalo, guitarist Ty Stevens of Mandy Moore, and bassist Tad Wadhams of Cheryl Crow and Bernie Taupin. Additional musicians include Rami Jaffee & Ben Peeler of The Wallflowers, Cameron Stone, Tim Pierce, David Channing, and Robert Powell. The production, engineering and mixing were handled by Ross Hogarth, whose credits include Shawn Colvin, Black Crowes, REM, Keb Mos 1998 Grammy Award winning record "Slow Down" and Jewels "Spirit."
