Australian Wildlife Tours

Australian Wildlife Tours is for travelers who want to experience a lot, but whose time is limited. If you only have a few days to see the real Australia, access to remote places is easy by comfortable twin engine aircraft. You learn about wildlife conservation, experience National Parks, visit outback homesteads, and share Aboriginal culture.

Your tour director

Prominent zoologist, veterinarian and research scientist, Dr George Wilson has twenty-five years of experience flying his own aircraft as a commercial pilot into remote areas of the outback visiting Aboriginal communities and conducting wildlife surveys of a highly specialised nature. He established Australian Wildlife Tours in 1984, when he was engaged in numerous research and development projects with the National Parks & Wildlife Services.

Dr George Wilson is able now to share the wealth of his knowledge with travelers who wish to experience the unique natural wonders and the cultural heritage that Australia has to offer. His services are widely regarded. He recently completed a major Air Safari commissioned by National Geographic. He experience in the tourism industry lead to his election as President of the Canberra Region Tourism Operators Association.
