Domaine Sainte Marthe 1993This Domaine bottled wine is made from two noble and recommended grape varieties: the Mourvedre (30%), with its well built structure; and the Syrah (70%), with its fruity aromas and robe of purple reflections.
Both are treated separately by carbonic maceration and blended afterwards in the above proportions and allowed to age for six months prior to bottling. The wine is colorful, robust but well balanced, with powerful aromas of red fruits (cherry), chocolate, and a hint of spice (licorice).
This complex wine, long in your mouth, can be kept a long time. It is best appreciated at 180C with game dishes and cheese.
