Montresor RÚSTEGO® 1994 Fattoria di Cavalcaselle Produced on the Montresor Cavalcaselle Estate on the shores of Lake Garda in the Veneto Region, this rustic wine is composed of 55% Corvina Veronese, 20% Cabernet, and 25% Merlot. No chemical fertilizers or herbicides are used.
The grapes, harvested in early November, are dried for 50 days prior to a traditional vinification of red wines with slow fermentation of the must at low temperature. It is then aged for 2 months in Slavonian Oak casks. The result is an aristocratic wine of deep ruby red colour; an ample, persistent, and agreeably dry palate; and, a predominant nose of violets and dried roses. Only 2000 to 2500 cases are produced per vintage.
It is recommended that this wine be consumed with red meat, roasts, poultry and game. Best served at room temperature.

 Montresor Valpolicella Classico D.O.C. Capitel della Crosara 1994/95
Montresor produced only 1500 cases from 100% Corvina Veronese grapes hand harvested in October on the Capitel Della Crosara Estate located in the Negrar commune of the Valpolicella Region. The grapes for this single cru wine were grown using traditional methods eliminating the use of herbicides and insecticides.
A traditional red wine vinification method was used with the unusual Ripasso practice of fermentation sur lies of the Amarone. The wine was then aged 12 months in Slovenian Oak casks and a further 3 to 4 months in Nevers barriques.
Deep clear ruby red colour. A bouquet with typical almond and cinnamon tones. A strong dry velvety taste with scents of cherry, musk, spices and wood.
It is most suitable with hearty entrees, roasts of white and red meat, poultry, boiled beef dishes, and hard cheeses. Best served at 20 degrees Celsius.

Montresor Chardonnay - Bianco Della Luna 1995/96 (the White of the Moon)Only 10,000 cases of this 100% Pinot Chardonnay is produced annually on the Montresor Cavalcaselle Estate on Lake Garda. Harvesting begins at the setting of the new moon of August. A soft pressing by horizontal pressing equipment yields a fine must that is cleaned and then fermented at controlled temperature. Wood ageing is not used. The inherent sparkle is achieved through the natural fermentation.
The wine has a white brilliant colour with greenish nuances. A fine and persistent perlage, and a typical bouquet of unripened apples. Dry, spritzy and harmonic.
An excellent aperitif, it is suitable for delicate entrees and fish dishes. Best served at 8 degrees Celsius.

Montresor Monte Fiera 1995 Bianco di Custoza D.O.C.
This single vineyard wine is produced from 40% Chardonnay, 40% Garganega, and 20% Trebbiano grown in these proportions and harvested in late September. The cleaned must, obtained by soft pressing of the grapes, is fermented at low temperature. The wine is aged for 5 months in 225 Litre Allier Oak barriques.
The resulting wine is pale straw yellow in colour, a characteristic bouquet reminiscent of musk, and a flavour of Acacia wood. It possesses a full bodied taste with a good balance between vanilla and fine wood. Only 1000 cases produced per vintage.
Best served chilled to 8 degrees Celsius, it is wonderful with strong tasting or spicy dishes; fabulous with fish; or, may simply be enjoyed with dry biscuits.

Montresor Pinot Grigio D.O.C. 1995/96 Val d'Adige Produced from 100% Pinot Grigio grapes grown on a Montresor Estate in the Valle dell 'Adige (north of the city of Verona). After the September harvest, they go through a soft pressing with a fermentation of the clean must at a low temperature. The wine is not wood aged.
Pale yellow straw colour with a characteristic fragrance reminiscent of apple blossoms. A full aromatic taste. Good acid that carries the fruit to a long balanced finish.
Excellent with crustaceans, lobster, and caviar. Serve chilled to 8-10 degrees C.

Montresor Bianco Di Custoza D.O.C. 1995/96
Produced from grapes grown in the Fattoria Di Cavalcaselle area (Lake Garda) and harvested in September, the 70% Bianca Fernanda, 20% Chardonnay, and 10% Trebbinello are soft pressed with cleaning of the must and fermented at low temperature. This wine is not aged in wood.
A straw yellow colour with an intense and characteristic bouquet. Sapid taste, delicate and aromatic with a good body.
An excellent aperitif, goes very well with appetizers, entrees, fish, and grilled white meats. To be served at 8 degrees Celsius.

Montresor Lugana D.O.C. 1995From a single Montresor vineyard Lissara Vecchia on the southern shore of Lake Garda, this 100% Trebbiano di Lugana wine is made by soft pressing the grapes harvested in September, cleaning of the must, low temperature fermentation, and ageing in stainless steel tanks. Only 7,000 cases produced.
The wine has a brilliant straw colour; an intense and characteristic fragrance; good soft body; and, is slightly aromatic.
Excellent with appetizers; fish in cream sauce; seafood; and, white meats. Serve chilled at 8 degrees Celsius.

Montresor Recioto della Valpolicella Classico D.O.C. Amarone Montresor 1992 The 50% Corvina Veronese, 40% Rondinella, and 10% Molinara grapes are harvested in October, then dried on the trellis for 4 months (until January). Traditionally vinified with a very slow fermentation at low temperatures over a 3 to 4 month period, the wine is then aged for 4 years in Slavonian Oak casks.
Deep garnet red colour with orange reflections. A strong and characteristic bouquet reminiscent of peach blossoms and raspberries. Warm, velvety and soft palate yet full bodied and well balanced.
Ideal with any strong and tasty meat dishes such as roasts and wild game, hot and hard cheeses. Presented in a special bottle, it is best consumed at room temperature one hour after uncorking.

Montresor Recioto Della Valpolicella D.O.C. Amarone - Riserva del Fondatore 1992A blend of 60% Corvina, 30% Rondinella, and 10% Molinara grapes grown on the Montresor estate produces one of the finest wines to come from the Verona area. The grapes are picked in October and are left to dry for four months in the granaries of the estate prior to vinification. The wine is then allowed to age for at least four years in old oak casks in the private cellar of the founder Giacomo Montresor.
This full bodied and ultra smooth Amarone is characterized by a deep red colour with pomegranate reflections; an ethereal bouquet reminiscent of peach blossoms, violets, raspberries, and mint; and compound flavours with clear shades of dried grapes.
Truly a remarkable wine, of which only 3,000 cases are produced annually, it is best opened for two hours prior to serving at room temperature.
