Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G. 1991

Produced and bottled on the La Poderina Estate in Montalcino (Tuscany) from 100% Brunello (Sangiovese grosso) grapes. The wine is fermented for 6 months in stainless steel tanks and then allowed to age 3 to 4 years in Slavonian Oak Barriques prior to a final refining in the bottle for an additional six months before selling.

It has elegant and succulent berry, floral, and cherry aromas and flavours. Medium bodied, fine tannins , and a sweet, crisp finish on the palate. Ready to be enjoyed now but will cellar another 5 to 7 years.
